Jessie
Jessie came to us from a farm in the central United States. She, like Alton, had grown blind and her owners did not know what to do with a hunting dog that could not see. They left her in her pen, where she chewed down her teeth trying to get out. They fed her, but she had so little exercise, that she gained weight and was barely ambulatory when she arrived in Atlanta via the shuttle. Over the next several years, Collin worked with her to rebuild her strength, reduce her excess weight. Alton, our blind dog, also made an effort to help her navigate the house. She never lost her desire for food, as many of these pictures show. She was a special senior dog addition to our family; something we very much recommend.
